Day 1: Arrival to Paro

Meet your guide and driver at the Airport, after warm welcome drive from Paro Airport over
Chelela Pass which is one of the highest motorable passes in Bhutan. Arrive in Haa Valley and
settle into village rhythm. Gentle walk in Katsho/Dumcho village, explore farmland/fields, local
Lhakhang, walk along Haa Chu river and enjoy the sunset and peace.
Overnight Haa

After enjoying breakfast at the homestay, start your day with a short but scenic hike Jungney Drak,
walk between Katsho & Eusu villages, interact with the locals, visit picturesque villages like
enchunna, Yangthang, Jangangkha. Visit Karpo and Nagpo Lhakhang. You can choose activities
like mountain biking, hot stone baths, or picnic along the river. At the homestay, experience
cooking sessions at making butter tea, ema datshi and other local delicacies.
Overnight: Haa

Visit Kyichu Lhakhang (one of Bhutan’s oldest temples).
Do some local sightseeing.
Optional: Tiger Monastery Hike/
Dzongdrakha Monastery Hike. Visit local farmhouse for ara (traditional drink) discussion.
Overnight: at a Homestay in Paro

Drive to Wandue Phodrang, enjoy breathtaking views of mountain ranges, lush valleys, winding
rivers, terraced fields, dense forests, and traditional Bhutanese villages along the way. Evening
valley-explore floor walk in Phobjikha.
Overnight: Phobjikha, Wandue

Visit Gangtey Monastery, explore Phobjikha Valley with scenic landscapes, walking along nature
trails, spotting the endangered black-necked cranes (in winter) and enjoy the serene rivers, forests
and traditional villages of the valley.
After lunch Drive to Trongsa
Scenic arrival into Trongsa ridge. Visit Trongsa Dzong, Ta Dzong (Watchtower Museum). Trongsa
is the historic bridge between east and west. It is deeply linked to Bhutan’s monarchy and central
power.
Overnight: Trongsa

From Tronga via Samchoeling Tea plantation to Zhemgang Dzong with scenic nature of manas
river and then to Tigntibi riverside adventure/bird watching, followed by Trong heritage cultural
immersion, Duenmang Tshachu-hot springs, Bartyee Eco -lodge center.
Overnight: one of the village homestay

Enjoy drive through Thumshingla Pass, beautiful forest views, waterfalls, scenic valleys and
occasional sightings of wildlife along the journey. Easy village walk near Jakar. Evening:
storytelling on Guru Rinpoche’s role in Bhutan
Overnight: One of the homestays in Bumthang

Bumthang: Sacred Sites, Lived Practice
Visit Jakar Dzong, Jambay Lhakhang, Kurjey Lhakhang (Guru Rinpoche imprint site), Tamshing
Lhakhang (ancient murals, living temple), Mebar Tsho (Burning Lake), beautiful valleys, local
villages. Can visit Chumey Valley and experience village walk through weaving hamlets.
Overnight: Bumthang

Scenic Drive through Forested hills. beautiful valleys into Paro

After our breakfast, we will drive to Paro International Airport for your onward flight. Our guide
and driver will bid you farewell here at the airport. We wish you a very safe and pleasant flight for
your onward destinations.
